Second pregnancy after lletz- reassurance needed

Hi

hoping for some reassurance from people who have experienced similar.
I am incredibly lucky to have a 14 month old baby girl after years of fertility issues and ivf. I am even luckier to have found myself very unexpectedly pregnant naturally and am now around 15 weeks pregnant.

in 2018 I was found to have very severe cell changes on a smear test and had to have a lletz under GA. They removed to a depth of 17mm which is above the normal. I was incredibly worried about this during my last pregnancy and self referred to Tommy’s in London for cervical scanning as my local unit only does one at 20 weeks. I had scans at 15, 18, 20 and 22 weeks and cervix length was around 32mm and stable and so was discharged. I made it to 36+5 when my waters went and I was then (semi) induced at 37 weeks although think Labour had started. Very quick Labour .

I promised myself I would try not to be so anxious this time but I still have that worry about my cervix and losing the baby or having a very premature birth. It’s not feasible for me to travel to London this time with a 14 month old so I have booked a private scan at 18 weeks. I’m hoping this will be enough.

has anyone else had a normal first pregnancy and term delivery and then had subsequent issues after lletz? Or can I assume my cervix will probably hold up ok?
thanks in advance
