Struggling to pee @ 14 weeks?

Bit random! But when my bladder is really full I literally cannot pee .

I am spending 10 mins on the toilet trying to move into a position that helps.

Has anyone experienced this during pregnancy? I'm 14 weeks and don't think it is a UTI, but will test anyway. I'm just worried in case it could be something else?

I had this all the way through my pregnancy with my daughter back in 2017. I had to push on my bladder sometimes to get it out.
I never really knew why… I assumed it was maybe positioning… but I was quite young and I didn’t question as much as I would now 😂

I had this later on in pregnancy and the only thing that helped was (very very inelegantly!) putting my hands on the floor and lifting my bum up. I guess it helped shift DD a bit, who knows.

But I don't know if that will help at 14 weeks.

Thanks both , good to know I'm not the only one! Such a random thing really, and it didn't happen when I was last pregnant with DD. I'm doing what you did @CrispsandCheeseSandwich and leaning forward which sort of works eventually haha. Isn't pregnancy glam 🤣

Yeah I really struggle with this! Constantly going to the loo, Bursting and then pee about 10 mls! Ended up in Gdocs twice cos was convinced I had a UTI but I now think it’s just how the baby is sitting…squashing my urethra! Oh the glamour is real!
