7th percentile, small head circumference

Hello, I have been for my 20 week scan today. I am 20+4 but baby was measuring on 7th percentile, and the head circumference was small. They put the scan as incomplete because he was in an awkward position so only got some measurements, they have referred me to Newcastle fetal medicine to see what they advise and have another scan in 2 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else and was baby okay? I’m so worried something is wrong

Hi, yes my second son's head measured small, and did post birth too for as long as they/I continued measuring, (right along the bottom centile) but he's a happy, thriving 10 year old now with no ill effects and visually he doesn't have a noticeably out of proportion head. He was born a little prematurely (6 weeks) but I don't believe that was related in any way (his father and paternal grandmother were also premies so think it was more a hereditary thing). Hi @Chloxx - how did your rescan go? I had my 20wk scan last week and HC and femur length were below 5th centile. Everything else looked good, no anomalies seen. Been referred to fetal medicine for a rescan in about 3 weeks. Hope you and little one are ok. X
