8 weeks pregnant - Cramping

I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I had cramping from 4 weeks to 6 weeks then it stopped. Yesterday they started again but this time it is much more painful. It feels really low down and constant, like a pulling sensation. I didn't have any cramping when pregnant with my 2 boys. I've had 2 miscarriages in the past and the cramps feel very similar. I rang my midwife today and she's got me in for a scan this week.

Anyone else had this?

I've had cramping the entire time on /off. Currently 17 weeks .
My cramping was quite severe too.
It left me completely paranoid and I've had 4 scans to date last being at 15 weeks. My midwife assured me cramping is completely normal and even told me I should have some cramping over next few weeks again as its the uterus stretching and thats what's causing cramping
