Feeling emotional and teary 6 weeks pregnant

My DC is 2 years old and has been sick often with viral infections etc. I am in a new role which is stressful and people aren't as supportive or sympathetic. I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been feeling very emotional, teary and overwhelmed thinking about all of these things. Is this normal? Does this gets better? I don't remember I was feeling this way in last pregnancy but then I was in relatively low pressure job and no DC to look after day and night through the nursery illnesses.
No mean comments please, just trying to feel better and hoping to hear some experiences and suggestions.

I honestly think this is normal - I’m 6+3 and while I haven’t cried loads, I did cry one day at work last week when someone called in sick (not something I would ever normally cry about!) and this evening when my husband got home from work and I felt like the worst wife ever for not having unloaded the dishwasher (he hadn’t even mentioned it). I wouldn’t worry unless it gets to a point where it’s getting in the way of you being able to go about your day, in which case I would talk to your GP/midwife.

@Lillers thanks for your reply. I feel hormones make us feel so overwhelmed sometimes. I had a cry today when I was speaking to my siblings for no particular reason. I'll just wait and see how I feel in few days time. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

@Ronhasgone hope you’re ok I’m 9w and I’ve been struggling since about week 5/6 with this, highly sensitive, emotional, paranoid - praying it gets better too! From speaking to others it does seem to be normal but doesn’t mean you don’t feel super overwhelmed and a bit out of control. Sending you a big hug xx
