Talipes at 20 week scan- urgent referral

Had 20 week scan Friday and all good apart from an issue with 1 of babys feet, they think it's talipes (club foot) tbh I wasn't hugely concerned, of all the things that can go wrong it's minor in my eyes. However, I have been referred to fetal medicine who called me within an hour of leaving the hospital with an urgent referral to another hospital for a scan. So obviously now I'm wondering if I should be more worried? There is nothing at all they can do until baby is born and I have a scan at 32 weeks anyway so to me it seemed a bit OTT but assuming as always they are following procedure?

In my experience, they do move quickly when they find anything at the anomaly scan. That’s a good thing- the waiting is horrible. I agree it’s highly likely there are set procedures for these things. Try not to worry. It’s even possible that a further scan will show nothing amiss.

Thank you @saturnspinkhoop yes it seems that whatever they find whether relatively minor or more severe it is treated within the same timescales. I'm beginning to realise the NHS works in mysterious ways! However I'm obviously not complaining at getting a very quick re-scan, they were pretty sure they'd called it correct but I guess we will see on Friday. I'm not hugely concerned as my niece had both feet at 90 degree angles when born she's 13 now and a good footballer so the prognosis is pretty positive
