38 weeks pregnant struggles!

I am 38 weeks pregnant and despite coping well and staying super positive with very challenging pregnancy due to hyperemesis, I just can’t believe how hard this very last stint of pregnant is all of a sudden- feeling very overwhelmed by how hard it is to physically get through the day and night now that I’m so huge and uncomfortable! Did other people find the final bit hard? I feel like my poor organs are screaming and every breath is a physical struggle 😂 and I’m so emotional! Literally just looking for how other people coped and any similar experiences! Thank you! X

I'm just about 37 weeks and feel very much the same as you, so your not alone. These last few weeks are incredibly tough, we are carrying a very heavy watermelon on the front of us 🤣 so everything feels like such hard work! The breathlessness, the aches and pains, heartburn, sleepless nights, the list could go on forever!
I've slowed down as much as I can (with a 6 year old in tow) and rest when I can.
Hopefully these babies won't keep us waiting too long now 😊

@anony1111 so nice to hear from someone else going through this! But honestly don’t know how you’re doing it with a six year old!

Fingers crossed our babies will make an appearance soon- I want to be a be able to breathe again 😂🙏🏻

I think the majority of woman struggle in the last few weeks, it's a massive strain on our bodies. Lots of daytime naps whilst he is at school helps 🤣
I hope everything goes well for you and baby arrives safely sometime soon so you can breathe properly!

I'm also 38 weeks and luckily this pregnancy has been really easy compared to my last one! However the last week has became really tough, I can't be bothered doing anything which annoyingly isn't an option as I have a toddler to run after!
You're almost there, not long until you have your little one in your arms 🥰

I’m here already at 35 weeks tbh 😆 my first was born at 36 weeks so I think I’m feeling a bit weird about the whole “could be today, could be 7 more weeks” thing.

im hoping to at least make it to 37 weeks so I can avoid the extra monitoring and hospital stay that comes with having a pre-term baby… but after that I don’t know how I’m going to cope it we end up going overdue!

I’m also 38 weeks and struggling! Finally finished work but still trying to keep up with daily life - 2 x boys, 7 horses & a dog. I have zero energy, can’t sleep & my bump feels bruised everytime baby wriggles. I’m constantly uncomfortable; driving/sitting/laying.. I spend so long fidgeting to find an ok position & then I’ll suddenly need to wee 😩

Swimming saved me tbh... The weightlessness of the the water was such a relief! Did some stretches in the shallow area and maybe one or two lengths but mainly just chilling on the side enjoying a lighter bump!!! Hopefully it helps you too!

Don’t know how those of you with children are managing these last few weeks/days! (Let alone 7 horses!!) - Amazing!

hope our babies arrive soon

If my partner wasn’t being extraordinarily supportive I would be a broken woman right now 😂

Oh my gosh yes, I feel you 😩 this is my third and it's been SO much harder this time around! They've also estimated him as being 91st percentile so we need to discuss delivery options - yay me!

@glasspaw I'm with you - my last was 37 +3 and my first 38 weeks! I feel like we've been on standby forever!

Good luck everyone!
