2 bfp then 2 bfn in same day few hours apart

Evening,

I am currently 13 dpo and tested today on clear blue early detention, i got a positive early afternoon, i then did the other test in box same urine and got another positive.....few hours later same test (new box) diff urine and it was negative.

Im well aware of chemical pregnancy's, just wondered if anyone has had this happen to them before ?

Do you have photos of the tests?

It could be that your urine was diluted as it was a hours later.

Try again in the morning.

Could be HCG concentration in urine had diminished.

test your FMU after a good night's sleep

Can be urine concentration, but for me this always indicates impending chemical, sadly

I binned them out of disappointment :( the lines came up straight away on both, they were both faint but blue.

I thought maybe the batch was dodgy but after doing some searching i did think it may be the concentration.

Im too scared to test again and see a bfn :(

I have done tests today all negative so i guess they were fluke tests or a chemical!

Testing multiple times a day with different urine is never going to give accurate results.
Especially that early when hcg is so low, its never going to be concentrated enough to test later in day

Im driving myself mad i know, but seeing 2 positives gave me so much hope. I would of thought it would not be negative the next day though 🤦🏻‍♀️

were they clearblue ones by any chance? They are notoriously bad for evaps, they have colour in them so people think they are positive.

When you’re testing early stick to first morning urine for more accurate results providing you haven’t been up for a wee a lot in the night. Doing them throughout the day can show negatives if your urine is too diluted.
