Yesterday I got my bfp, it was mid afternoon so I thought I’d test again in the morning expecting a dark line and it was fainter. Really confused, could this mean pregnancy isn’t progressing?
photos attached the green one was yesterday and the blue was fmu this morning.

I should have added I was due yesterday so I’d be 4+1 now.

These tests aren't to be used to measure pregnancy progressing. You should stop testing once you have a positive.

Added that they are different brands as well.

Nabooh · 01/02/2024 10:57

They're different brands so the progression wouldn't be accurate anyways.

You're pregnant clearly. You don't need to test again.

I just did a weeks indicator (before advised not to do anymore tests) and it looks positive so I think it's just really early. 🤞

Congratulations it's a really anxious time in the early days. The only way of knowing is to do 2 x HCG blood tests 48 hours apart and see if the numbers are doubling as they should. Or wait until 6+ weeks and get a scan..but I will say neither of these things will affect the outcome.

Thank you, it is an anxious time, paranoia due to I've had many chemical pregnancies and a missed mc and an ectopic so really hoping this is our year!

Bless you fingers crossed this is your time..we had a 12 year TTC journey with many failed transfers and then a MMC before we finally got to where we are. I'm 20 weeks now and still anxious but it does ease off as the weeks and days pass.

I found that my FMU lines were actually the lightest. I would hold it a few hours and use my 2MU and would get a darker line!

Couggstar123 · 01/02/2024 16:34

Yeah mine were always lighter in the morning too! I work nightshift so not sure if my body is just backwards 🤣

Looking better today
