Pregnancy clothes - UK online shop

Can you ladies recommend where I can shop online for some maternity dresses and active wear? John Lewis selection seems poor and I haven't lived in the UK in so long, I don't know where to look. Needs to be wide selection as I need summer clothes only.

DH is travelling to the UK next week and it's my only opportunity to shop for another 3 months (disadvantage of living on a small hot expensive island) and I need some room for my bloated belly already.

Next and H&M are good. And TU range at Sainsburys.

mynameiscalypso · 31/01/2024 14:27

Seconding supermarket ranges - Tu and George. I bought a fair bit from New Look too when I was pregnant although for dresses, I mainly just bought non-maternity ones in styles that suited a bump.

I liked H&M

My youngest is 4 so a while ago for me. I really liked New Look maternity range and price was ok. Maternity jeans were Topshop as I needed petite or short length maternity which is difficult to find!

If you don't mind Shein it might be worth a shout. I'd def try there now especially as the clothes only get used for a short period of time. I sold all my stuff in bundles when I was finished with it on eBay.

I bought a few stretchy dresses from Primark in a size up too.

Seraphine maternity has nice clothes that last awhile! Good quality too :)

Definitely H&M for active wear. I noticed today they now stock a baby wearing fleece that is much more reasonably priced than Seraphine. They're also great for basics and every day dresses. For prettier bits I used New Look, Mamalicious, Seraphine and Beyond Nine. Next are great for the non wired Calvin Klein style cotton maternity/nursing bras. I've seen Love Leggings recommended for every day leggings.

I haven't bought many maternity clothes yet but I order online via boohoo. Huge range, I have a couple of maternity joggers and jeans from there and they're so comfortable

OopsieeDaisy · 02/02/2024 08:47

George at Asda aren’t bad but not a huge range, boohoo have a lot of choice and you’ll easily find some summer bits on there too.

Minnesota38 · 02/02/2024 08:49

H&M and George at Asda.

Then JoJo Maman and Seraphine if you want a few nicer pieces.

Everything is so frumpy :( I got a couple pairs of maternity trousers off Vinted then stuck to my usual wardrobe.

I wanted to look like Rihanna pregnant, confident and sexy!! Unfortunately the usual websites/clothes shops want us to look more like mrs doubtfire 😩

MrsHousePlant · 02/02/2024 09:49

@Nttttt you have summed up how I have felt trying to look for maternity clothes perfectly 😂

I’ve also gone down the maternity leggings/jeans route and will size up in some tops. Recommend love leggings (now called Lovall) good quality!

I’m glad I’m not the only one! 😂 I did get some leggings too and wore them to death and some flared yoga pants too.

Even if I wanted to look like a pregnant goddess I’ve spent most days in my joggers with my hair scraped up anyway, it would’ve been a big job haha

Flopsy145 · 02/02/2024 10:11

Vinted has a HUGE range of really nice stuff

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 02/02/2024 13:58

Look for seraphine clothes on Vinted

TooHappyToday · 02/02/2024 14:30

I got some nice dresses, a skirt and a pair of trousers from Frugi. I was only on there as they have very cute baby clothes but ended up buying stuff for my self. All items were in the sale and the two dresses are nursing friendly too.

cbbo · 02/02/2024 14:31

ASOS!!

yaboreme · 02/02/2024 14:37

H&M

boomingaround · 02/02/2024 14:38

I get all my stuff off Asos

LittleRobins · 02/02/2024 15:30

Mamalicious do the best maternity dresses, there’s a lot to choose from. They wash well and are very comfy

bogoblin · 02/02/2024 15:32

Asos - been wearing these leggings for 3 pregnancies and they've held up!
