Hi all, I got my BFP a week ago on Jan 24th! Anyone else out there got a BFP in Jan 2024 want to join for the ride? Interested to hear others symptoms, excitements etc! This would baby no.2 for me and I've had miscarriages before so feeling anxious but hopeful for this one. Help me ride out the next 7.5 weeks til the 12 week scan!

Hello! I got BFP on the 10th (7w today)

Since then I've been exhausted and have also had "morning sickness" waking me up in the middle of the night. Not a great time.

I'm having my first appointment next week. I think its mostly for blood tests and to get family history, and maybe check for heartbeat. Don't really know what to expect but the wait is killing me!

I got my BFP @ 9dpo SUPER early on 5th Jan so it's been a looooong month! Baby no 2 for me too @JemRose & I had a lose in October. I managed to get in with my EPU last week who were amazing & we saw a heartbeat ❤️ have you thought about contacting yours for an early scan? Where I am you can self refer and from my first phone call to them and having the scan was only 24 hours.

I'm around 7w2d now and the sickness & tiredness is kicking in, my boobs are also on FIRE!

I got my Bfp at 9dpo on 21st Jan I have a 2 year old and had a mc last year.
I'm very very anxious.

Can I ask @Wonderpants3 when u contacted epu did u just ask for a scan cause of previous loss?
I'm in Essex I wonder if my trust would do this for me?

Congratulations all on Bfp x

@nervousn3lly I called my EPU on what I guessed was 6w and basically said I was 6w pregnant, I'd had an early loss a few months ago and I was having some cramping that was worrying me and could I come in for a reassurance scan.

They were really lovely and helpful, it really put my mind to rest. I googled my local hospitals EPU and it said on there if you had had a previous loss you can self refer which is why I called, I was really nervous to call and felt silly but my husband pushed me to do it and to see a heartbeat really made me glad I went.

Hi all! :) I'm 6 weeks today , this will be my second, my first is only 10 months old but took 2 years to conceive so we thought would start early but it happened straight away! I'm so happy but also very anxious something bad will happen because it seems too good to be true! And almost to 'easy' after the struggle last time x

I found out over the weekend. Estimated dd October 1st! Has anyone else's symptoms come and go?

JemRose · 01/02/2024 20:54

@nervousn3lly sounds like we are in a very similar boat! My little one is nearly 2, I also had a loss last year too so I know how you must be feeling.

@Wonderpants3 thanks so much for the info on getting an early scan... I'm seriously tempted.

@hol92 wow what a surprise that must have been! 2 years must have felt so long, very happy for you that this one has happened so quickly.

@Lethalyoung97 I'm just 5 weeks and my symptoms definitely come and go at this stage, as they did when I was pregnant with my first little one. I think thats very normal, but usually they ramp up at around the 6/7 week mark.
