Hiii I'm 8 weeks and really struggling on 3 diff meds (which was a fiiight with various GPs even after hosp admission!) which help the actual vomiting even tho I'm still sick a few times a day but the nausea is permanent. Can't work or look after toddler so feel v v v guilty.

Did anyone find meds that also helped nausea? When did yours end? How do you know when it's time to go to hospital for fluids? I did a couple of weeks ago and they were amazing and sorted me straight away but I don't know how to tell if I'm getting too dehydrated again or not?

Please don't suggest ginger biscuits, I will cry 😭

What medication are you on OP? I’m 30 weeks pregnant but was very much (and still am) in the same position re - nausea. I take ondandsetron and phrocoperazine. Go to hospital when you can’t keep anything down, if you’re peeing less, vomiting a lot, unmanageable at home. The first trimester is so hard, I really really struggled my first time round and now my second. Could you try ice lolly’s? I go through about 20 a week now as I find they help my nausea. I’ve also been on omephrozole since 15 weeks, maybe worth asking for too. I hope you feel better soon!

Freezing cold raspberry lucozade sport, tiny sips of it to stay hydrated and try force yourself to eat.

The nausea is so much worse with HG when you don't eat or drink. Hopefully it will ease off slightly as you get further along but HG is debilitating, don't feel guilty.
