Hi ladies
looking for a bit of advice before ringing GP in morning. I’m 8 weeks PG. Started to feel very tired yesterday and today and today had randomly a pain in my right but cheek when walking (no idea if related or unrelated) and a little bit of a achiness in my hips. I’ve also noticed my pee is cloudy. No burning sensation or soreness when peeing but sometimes feel a throbbing when not peeing. I’ve never had a uti in my life so unsure of this is what it could be and the only typical symptom seems to be cloudy pee
Anyone with experience of UTIs had anything similar?
thanks
(I’ve had an MC before and aware I may be overthinking but just want to be on the safe side- I don’t have my booking app until 9 weeks)

I had a uti over Christmas and could only get it sorted in 1st Jan as I was umming and Arrington about the symptoms. I didn’t really have any at first. Midwife noticed cloudy pee on my last appointment and symptoms began to show days later.

I would go to gp if you feel any kind of discomfort. They always priorities uti’s in pregnancy as it can escalate pretty quickly. If it’s anything like my Gp it took a week to get test results.

Also do you have an emergency until for early pregnancy. The one I’m connected to act very quick but it’s on a drop in basis.

You can buy urine test kit online that will help you assess if you have an infection.

Ladies thanks for your responses went to GP this morning and nothing showed on dip but they’re sending away to lab anyway to double check. A friend of mine has just told me you can get tests from Amazon and have ordered some also! I didn’t realise that was a thing
thanks

@CJ3 While you wait for confirmation it can’t hurt to use some home remedies. I swear by barley water. Also important to keep drinking plenty - the stinging of UTIs usually happens when you’re not drinking enough to flush the rubbish through your system properly.
