Help - panicking over my tests.

I know, I know. I shouldn’t have kept testing but I’m nervous due to previous losses. I’m 22 DPO today.

Top test is Friday bottom is today and it looks lighter to me so naturally I’m spiralling. Both FMU. The first is slightly different from normal clear blue as it’s the flip and fold version. Could it be it just has more dye in it? Has anyone experienced this before and it been ok. I’ve got a blood test tomorrow
anyway. My last blood draw was 417 at 16dpo so I’ll know where i stand but I’d love feedback in the meantime.

please help pacify me!

The line is just as dark on both tests, it’s just that the old test is dried up, you can see the white has gone yellow too so it’s bound to look different to the fresh one. Stop testing!

The darkness has not really changed from Friday when I first did the test though. It went really dark straight away and the white also went yellow within half an hour. I know you’re right though. Testing is doing me zero good.

The control line on the first test is also darker. Perhaps that has something to do with it?! I know I’m being silly!

I was the same as you OP, testing for several weeks because a previous loss had made me so anxious.

I found the progression was really variable and I'd often find tests were lighter on some days.

Probably different amount of dye in the test?

Once I got my 3+ on the digital I stopped testing, but it was a really stressful time.

Tbh I don't think that this would mean anything really. I had a missed miscarriage and had tested a few times up until my first scan, my tests continued to stay dark despite the pregnancy ending, although I was unaware at the time and didn't find out until 11 weeks pregnant that my baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. So I wouldn't judge based on how dark your tests are showing. If your feeling okay I'd try not to worry

I’d say it’s a different amount of dye in the tests then. But I’d say both tests look as positive as each other when you look at the test lines in comparison to the control lines, the tests on the whole look different to each other like one is old, one is fresh, or poss from different batches with different amounts of dye. But I would not say that todays result is less positive than the older one if that makes any sense.

@TeaKitten that makes sense. Thank you.

@TiredMum30 I know these tests canot tell me the pregnancy is progressing but I cling on to the fact they could possibly tell me if the pregnancy is failing (although not necessarily). I’ll try to chill from now. Out of my hands

I’m currently 20weeks 4days pregnant. When I tested at the start my lines never really changed darkness. They seemed to stay the same for the whole week I tested every day 😂
