WHAT IS GOING ON?! TMI pic attached

Hi all
Long post ahead but hoping for some advice/ stories!!
I have an almost 14m old son and we haven’t been trying but defo not preventing. Cycles on average are 34 days and we DTD at the right timing as a coincidence this month. No crazy symptoms this month (same as when pregnant with first son).
anyway, CD30 rolls around and I have no cramps or any other symptoms, go to the toilet and wipe to see a small amount of Brown cm. Not much else comes off this and I just presume AF has arrived a few days early which rarely happens. CD31 I have VERY light bleeding as opposed to my usual heavy flow and today is CD32 and I have a wipe of very dark blood - see TMI pic attached. Usually by ‘day 2/3’ of my cycle I am soaking through tampons and pads but it’s just not the case now.
my boobs have started to ache today and I have had waves of nausea today but haven’t taken a test …. Waiting for Amazon to deliver them this eve.
has anyone had anything similar? Please tell me your stories!! Xx

Difficult to say, my periods went a bit odd when DD was 15 months, usually regular as clockwork, always have been and really heavy on day three, but the last few months I've been coming on early, and my periods have just been weird, light for 3 days, then one day heavy, then light again, I'm definitely not pregnant, but definitely do a test to check

Thanks for commenting! Wow that’s so strange isn’t it. Mine have been pretty bang on over the last year or so but have always varied even before DS.
No further bleeding or spotting today so going to give it a couple of days before I test! Bodies are so strange!!

That's really dark. I would wait for a day or two and test again. Dark blood can be a sign of early pregnancy but that's quite a lot of it.

Odd isn’t it! Never had blood that’s so dark so a bit baffled as to what’s going on. Nothing since….will be sure to keep the thread updated. Just want some answers as know this isn’t normal for me at all!
