Psoriasis and pregnancy

This is my 4th pregnancy and the only one where my psoriasis has flared up.

Has anyone had this happen?
Did it get better after birth/breastfeeding?
Is there any correlation to the sex of baby?

I had this!

Bad flare up during 2 pregnancies.

all symptoms magically disappeared during a 3rd pregnancy - and came back 9 months later.

No idea of this is why but the first 2 were girls and 3rd was a boy. I did “joke” to DH it might be worth having a 4th if it was another boy and would give me a year and a half off skin conditions!

With the girls it gradually went back to “normal” after but I can’t say when as it wasn’t dramatic

Thanks 😊
My first two pregnancies were girls, no worse skin.
The third, sex unknown, delivered at 18 weeks. No worse skin.
This one ....every symptom going! Currently 12 weeks.

I went into remission in both pregnancies. I had a girl then a boy.

Post pregnancy however, I've flared up at about 6 months after both. Breastfed both. The flare after my boy was far worse than my girl, but I've heard that might be down to having had a C-section. After each flare my baseline psoriasis has gotten exponentially worse to boot. There won't be a third.

Hopefully your psoriasis calms down soon.
