So as the title says I’m 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant and been experiencing period cramping now for 5 days. They a mild cramps and super low down like where you get period pains. They don’t come in waves as such but do come and go through the day randomly. I get more if I need a wee or a bowel movement. It’s also in my back too but I’ve had back ache for a while anyway so that’s not new. On Tuesday after several days of calling the triage team they finally checked me over. I was on the monitor to check baby movements and contractions for about an hour and I was cramping whilst on it and no contractions were picked up at all so they are satisfied it isn’t early labour. This is now my 4th of going to triage once at 22 weeks, then again at about 25 weeks, again on New Year’s Day and then finally on Tuesday all for cramping pains and each time I’ve not been contracting and mg cervix has been closed etc. my urine was also normal everytime. I obviously asked what could be causing these pains and they don’t seem to know other than maybe Braxton hicks ( not strong enough to be picked up on the monitor), stretching pains or constipation issues, wind or dehydration (definitely not this as I drink so much!)

I’m lost because I don’t want to keep going in just to be told the same thing but I’m also sick of having cramps all the time. Had a midwife appointment today and baby is 3/5th palpable apparently so they may explain some of the cramping and discomfort down low maybe. Also my ‘morning’ sickness has come back for a vengeance so my belly feels like I’m on a boat constantly 😩 any else have cramps and know what was causing them?!
