Pregnancy glow?!

I’m approaching the end of the first trimester BUT my nausea and sickness has ramped up this week (I was actually sick yesterday which is a first!), I have pregnancy acne all over my chin and a little spidery vein on my cheek from increased blood supply, I have a small bump that looks more like a hangover from the mince pies I ate over Christmas and bags under my eyes from the 3am toilet trip.

When, pray tell, will I get this much fabled ‘pregnancy glow’?! 😂

I'm 29 weeks and as much as I don't look as awful as the first trimester I definitely wouldn't say I have a glow 🤣. I remember getting it with my son in the second trimester tho... This one's a girl so maybe the girls really do steal your beauty. Wonder what you're having! Haha hope it all calms down a bit for you soon

Sorry you're not going to like me but I was blessed with the glow pretty much the whole way, 37 weeks now. I am preparing to be hit with post partum hormones though as karma for being smug haha! 😝

Unfortunately everyone is so different. X

They usually say girls steal your beauty.

When i was pregnant and in my first trimester, it was probably my friends being nice to me, telling me i was glowing and looking fabulous when really id been up most of the night feeling sick and with really bad heartburn in the first trimester!!

My skin was very dry when i was pregnant, like the baby had sucked out all of my moisture from my skin🙄

Some are luckier than others in the sense of a pregnancy glow, but my pregnancy apps always said it doesnt happen until the second trimester😂

Good luck, you'll probably find out its a girl😂

Also congrats on your pregnancy x

I had it fairly early on with my first child (boy), I felt much the same as you during my current pregnancy and if I’m honest don’t think I’ve ever had the glow this time sorry to say but it’s a girl and there’s an old wives tale that they steal your beauty lol xxx

I'm having my induction in 7 days and I've still not achieved a pregnancy glow 😂 more like pregnancy hobo.

I have two kids and I'm sorry to say I never got the glow that others do! Someone once said to me "you either bloom or you wilt". Well I certainly wilted.

Not sure about this flow thing as I didn't notice any myself but I did get few comments in my early third trimester that I was glowing. Probably just managed to sleep better for a short period.

16+3 with a girl and no glow up over here, still feel exhausted and nauseous. The dark circles under my eyes are horrendous and spots have appeared this week. My sickness ramped up 12-15 weeks too but I do feel like it’s getting better the last week, hang in there!

I looked great during the third trimester. I went to a wedding at 38 weeks and I have a nice neat
bump, lovely thick hair and was still able to wear heels.

Post-partum is a different story 😂

Oh you all made me giggle although not sure if I feel better or worse after reading your responses 😂😂
