Worried about telling work I am pregnant

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and for some reason have this overwhelming fear of telling my workplace that I am pregnant. I have been employed by the same company for 1 year and 5 months and should be 2 years before I go off on maternity leave. Has anyone felt like this before? I don’t know why I am so nervous about telling them , I think I am worried about being judged as I am younger than a lot of my colleagues. I know I am being stupid and I don’t think my hormones are helping!!

how old are you?

they will likely say congrats and then give no further thought until much later down the line when planning for maternity leave occurs

so you enjoy your work and like your colleagues?

I felt really nervous telling my employers first time around. But it was absolutely fine.

I just left it until I felt they needed to know, which for me, was when I had my 12 week scan.

They were lovely and so excited for me.

I am 26, will be nearly 27 when baby is born and been with my partner 8 years , I just feel a bit ‘young’. I know I’m being silly. I don’t mind my work, not sure if I will return after maternity or look for something new. I get on with my colleagues, they are a nice bunch.

Congratulations!! You aren't that young! I was expecting 19/20. You are in a long term stable relationship, they will be happy for you!
