10 weeks - pink spotting

I've had some VERY light pink spotting since Sunday.. so intermittent.. literally no more than 3 times a day.. so light as well..no pain.. just mild cramps, stretching and heavy in my lower tummy. I'm 10+3 today.. my midwife said nothing to worry about and it sounds like implantation bleeding. I literally wipe and on the second wipe it's gone!
But wanted to put it on here too to see if anyone else had the same? I had some bleeding with my son who's now 6.. but only twice. And this pregnancy feels like the first time all over again!!
Just unsure whether to get more medical advice or not.

Hello ,

Like you I had bleeding in both pregnancies

1st pregnancy it was really early on ( about 4/5 weeks i think) but all was fine (happened a few times)

2nd pregnancy it didn't happen till about 8 weeks. First time it was a small amount, all fine, i then had a big bleed which terrified me , but all was still fine! I think I had a heamatoma or something on the sack causing the bleeding

I know it's easier said than done, but please try not to worry! Every time I had bleeding it was fine, obviously sometimes this is not the case but as its a small amount and midwife is not concerned hopefully that will put your mind at rest

Maybe try get booked into the early pregnancy clinic is it happenea again for them to check you and and so you can have some peace of mind

Wishing you all the best x @Harveybelle

Hi all,

Update - this morning it slightly increased and a tad darker. Stopped now.
I called EPAU and they suggested either going to A&E if it continues or waiting til my scan on the 1st Feb.

Not sure what way to go. As I said the spotting has stopped for now and in no pain... any advice from here?

Sorry to hear your going through this

Maybe go to a&e if you're concerned and they may be able to check your HCG levels ?

One of the times in my 2nd pregnancy I did pay for a private scan for peace of mind, but unfortunately there are quite expensive 😟 but my early pregnancy clinic always did book me in ASAP when I told them I had bleeding , but mine was at a weekend which is why I unfortunately had to pay

Wishing you all the best xx

Just an update. Was in a&e most of today. Clots last night were bad but also at the hospital were worse. I also had dangerously high heart and BG rates. They did a scan in a&e to check for blood mass in my uterus. All clear. He could see something still attached to the uterine wall but gynae can't see me til tomorrow so I'm waiting for a text with an emergency appointment time.
On my way home now feeling a bit of everything. I don't think it'll be a positive outcome for us this time.

I'm sorry you are going through this, are they going to do a proper scan tomorrow to see how baby is? This must be really difficult for you.

So I had to call this morning as I didn't receive a text with my appointment time. And noones booked me in! Waiting for a call back. But I think I did pass the little sac last night. Xx

@Harveybelle so sorry to hear you're going through this 😢 and sorry that you are not getting the service you deserve and need

Harveybelle · 23/01/2024 12:03

Thank you xx I chased again and finally going in at 2pm although none of my notes have gone over so I'll have to explain it again to them. Hoping I'll have everything confirmed and can begin to process, move on and try again xx

Hey, how did you get on? Any good news? X

Harveybelle · 24/01/2024 21:08

Hey.. unfortunately they diagnosed an incomplete miscarriage, which wasn't a shock by then as the night before I think I passed the little one. It was quite obvious compared to the rest of the bleed. I felt quite practical about it all but today the emotional side has really hit a lot. Thank you for checking in. Xx

Oh, I am so sorry, look after yourself and take time to grieve. It's really hard, I've been through 2 mc, but there is hope.
Sending you love x
