I got taylor tickets. I'm a huuuge fan, dont judge me lmao. Regardless I finally got tickets, to the eras tour (kind of a dream for someone who has been obsessed since her debut album). I will be be 8 months pregnant, one month and 10 days before due date. Am I insane for wanting to go to it?! I have seated tickets so can sit whenever I'm tired but thinking I may be slightly bonkers but I'm desperate to go and surely I won't be near labour that early! I've carried one pregnancy right to full term before ❤️
Thanks for any advice ❤️

Do it! I went to a standing concert about 10 days before DD2 was due. I had a great time and lots of lovely women offered to let me skip the line for the loo!

Denimdenimdenim · 18/01/2024 11:14

I went to a large gig at 8 months pregnant. All fine 👍🏻

WholeZebra · 18/01/2024 11:26

100% go! You’ll be seated and have access to drinks and snacks if needed! I’m so jealous!

TheaBrandt · 18/01/2024 11:30

As it’s seated should be fine. That said my first was 3 weeks early second 5 weeks early so you never know - also had tickets for something was sitting in a hospital bed with a newborn that night not the theatre as planned..

LuluLemony · 18/01/2024 11:43

You'll be fine, I'd do it. I went to see Harry Styles last year and there was a lady in the standing area who he spoke to and it was her due date that day!

Bells3032 · 18/01/2024 11:45

If seated i don't see a problem. if it was standing i'd be worried about being knocked etc but seating it should be fine. Enjoy and congrats!!

WaltzingWaters · 18/01/2024 11:46

Especially seeing as you have seated tickets, you’ll be absolutely fine. Go and enjoy!

Curious23x · 18/01/2024 11:49

I'm so jealous you're going! I went to see Harry Styles last June, 8 months pregnant. Also seated tickets, I had an incredible time. Enjoy yourself!!

hopingfor23 · 18/01/2024 12:06

I also have tickets for June and I'm due in July! I will be going :-) I went to a concert 8 months preggo with my son and I was very glad of the seat but really enjoyed it!

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 18/01/2024 12:21

I went to many! Including 2 in one week a month before my due date and another exactly 2 weeks before. No issues at all, and I never had to wait in the bathroom queue as they saw the bump (i was massive) and offered to let me go first 😅

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 18/01/2024 12:26

Go for it! I went to see Westlife many years ago when I was heavily pregnant on DD. She bounced around inside me while they played. I was exhausted afterwards but loved every minute. DD has grown up with very different taste in music though Grin

Rocknrollstar · 18/01/2024 13:12

Why wouldn’t you go?

PickledScrump · 18/01/2024 14:04

I went to busted at 34 weeks in a heatwave. Absolutely fine. Just have water with you. Loads of people go to concerts, I guarantee you will not be the only pregnant woman there.

Notacottish · 19/01/2024 15:42

You are not crazy and it will be AMAZING. Glad you have seats though.

Daisies12 · 19/01/2024 16:13

Why wouldn't you go? You're pregnant, not incapacitated.

BmE98 · 21/01/2024 11:04

Thank you everyone this is wicked to hear ❤️🎉 to everyone asking why I wouldn't I think I've just got in my head! My husband is slightly worried about early labour etc so I think I just started second guessing myself a bit on whether it's a good idea!
I appreciate every response, thank you ❤️

I danced in the EDM tent at 8 months pregnant with DS and went to a Lloyd Cole acoustic show a week later.

Just be prepared to have your baby declare their approval/rejection to the music as they can feel (hear?) it from the womb. In my Ds' case EDM 😍and Lloyd Cole 😠. These musical tastes continued into adulthood.

And don't forget there are LONG lines for the toilets (I had access to VIP area, so wasn't an issue, but still...).

BmE98 · 21/01/2024 14:17

Thank you! I think I may try and plan to use the loo in super popular songs, I love every single taylor song so won't be missing out but have a chance of a smaller que if her biggest songs are playing!
Thanks for the advice ❤️
