Appendicitis in pregnancy

Has anyone had any experience of this?

I started with stomach pains 2 weeks ago, constant right sided dull ache, never really got worse, never had any other symptoms alongside. Called midwife , couldn't offer me much so went to A+E. diagnosed appendicitis with an USS and put on the theatre list.
However started on IV antibiotics and pain started improving and blood markers were showing response. I was 10 weeks pregnant at this point and there's a potential higher risk of surgery in first timester so I was sent home to complete antibiotics.
Since finishing them, I keep having twinges of pain but not constant like last time. Had more bloods done and my infection markers are fully back within normal range.
I guess I'm just asking if anyone else has experienced this, had the same treatment and then had some intermittent pain for a while afterwards until it settles down. I feel completely fine otherwise, able to get on with day to day activities , no other symptoms alongside so it seems a waste of A+E time to go back! also had my 12 weeks scan at the beginning of the week and baby is looking perfect. TIA.
