Hi.
im wondering if anybody has had this and it been normal? I’ve got mild light cramping and when I wipe the paper is tinged but there’s nothing heavy enough for a pad etc.

im maybe 7-8 weeks pregnant, im yet to have a midwife appointment or a scan. I tried to call my community midwives earlier who have booked me for a scan on Wednesday earliest at the EPAU but didn’t offer much help or reassurance when explaining what is going on.

im 31, have PCOS and have struggled for 8+ years with my fertility. This is my first pregnancy which is so wanted and I am just so worried and GP/comm midwives seem to offer not much.

I wouldn't worry too much with that amount! My last pregnancy I bled a little at 8 weeks and was told that sometimes at the same time your period would be due, people have a little spotting throughout pregnancy. It could just be that! But yours really doesn't look like much at all, mines was more than that :)

I’m just so worried I’ve waited so long for this even a hint of being pregnant. I know I’m probably stumbling too far ahead. It’s just the cramping alongside it has made me feel very worried especially as I don’t truly know how far I am :( thank you for helping xx

Hi OP

I’m just over five weeks and I’m having the exact same. Same colour on the tissue and very mild feeling period like pains.

Everyone who I have spoken to have all said it is normal though. So everything crossed 🤞🏼.

Could you not book in a private scan somewhere? They range from about £50-£90 where I live but I think it’s worth the reassurance.

The only way of really knowing if all is ok is a private scan. I had IVF so had a viability scan at 6 weeks and then another at 8 weeks it was a great reassurance. If it's not good news there is nothing that can be done but at least you will know.
