Hello, pleaseee no judgement
my baby turns 10 weeks old Thursday and my period is 5 days late. I have what looks like a positive test but is so faint. If my period is 5 days late surly the line should be darker? Could it be left over hormones from last pregnancy?
I have attached photo of test
thank you

i'd advise on going out to shop and getting a digital x

I don't think you can have left over hormone? I'd take another test with first morning urine

RiderofRohan · 15/01/2024 16:13

If you've had unprotected sex then there is a good chance you are pregnant with that test.

At one of my antenatal appointments, and when being discharged after having my son, I was told you can get pregnant 3 weeks after giving birth so could very well be a positive OP. Like PP said maybe best to check with a digital

This was my test with first morning urine, we have been actively trying since 3weeks postpartum but have had brown spotting today so even more confused :/

Brown spotting means it's old blood and not a period, how much blood is there? If it isn't much it could be implantation spotting.

I can’t give any advice but curious, did your doctor give the go ahead and did you not have pain? Im also thinking about a 2nd baby fairly soon after(due to my age) , but thought the min wait was 6months(although could take while to conceive which I assume is what you also thought😂).

If you've been actively trying, it's even more likely you are pregnant. I think the general medical advice is to give your body more time to recover though.

No we didn't get the go ahead we was just told if we don't want it to happen to use protection😂 im aware the advice is to wait but we just decided to try straight away. Fully aware some people will disagree but we're happy with our decision and fully know the risks. My sisters got two that are less then a year apart and there so close 😍🥰🥰xxx

The spotting is very very light not even enough for a pad xx
