Early stage of labour?

Hi! I'm currently 39+1 weeks with my first.

For the past few days I've noticed an increase in discharge (clear and sticky), lower back ache and a cramping feeling at the front.

Baby is kicking a lot but I can feel a lot around pubic bone/just under it which can be quite painful! I don't believe my waters have broke or that I have lost my mucus plug.

I'm also feeling a lot of pressure around my pelvis, feeling very tired and needing to go to wee a lot!

Does this mean labour could be near?
If anyone has hd the same symptoms, when did you go into labour?

Thanks in advance x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sounds like it’s imminent. I had a lot of discharge right at the end, when the head engaged. Your back ache and cramping could be the early stages of labour. I felt my contractions in my back and thighs much more than my belly. Things don’t always kick off with waters going, mine did with DC1 but I think they told me it’s about 1 in 10. When do you next see your midwife?

Oh and the waters on all 4 never broke till baby came out to. I hated the feeling like they were sitting in my fanny. The twins was the worst fairly early on aswell

Not until the day after my due date!
