Feeling depressed as throughout my consultations in pregnancy I was told wireless monitoring is available for water births

however after my waters broke and I arrived to hospital the midwives said someone else was using pool and that wireless monitoring is “rubbish”

I had to have a epistio and feel angry.
legs in stirrips ventouse ( I was very vocal and wanted an epidural but was too late ) and a 2nd degree tear . I agreed to the ventouse but they didn’t ask if I’m ok with the epist. There were some heart decelerations in the 60s but I didn’t know at the time. Midwife said ventouse happened because I was too distressed ?? That’s not a clinical reason.

They could have at least offered to let me go in the bath

is there a case against the hospital as they didn’t ask me what labour position I wanted once again I feel things were done to me rather than being asked

Sorry to hear that your birth didn't go well. It's horrible when you have an idea of how things might be and they and up out of your control. I came across the post searching for "vbac water birth". Hopefully this will give your post a bump and someone with good advice will come along soon.
