Bleeding at 11 weeks pregnant

Hi!

Has anyone had anything similar happen to them before?
I'm 11 weeks pregnant, this morning my husband and I had sex, then after it we noticed the bed was covered in blood, I went to the toilet blood was dripping out.
I started crying and screaming obviously thinking I was loosing my baby.
Went straight to the emergency room where they done a scan and said everything was totally fine, heard the heartbeat etc.

They said there were no problems at all and I might experience some light bleeding for the next few days but everything is looking normal.

This happened to me in my last pregnancy at 13 weeks. I thought I was having a miscarriage. It was awful. I was staying to wonder if I was safe (r) being over 12 weeks, then a few hours after sex, the toilet was full of blood. I went to the EPU and a scan showed all was good and no signs of the bleeding coming from anywhere worrying. The doctor said it can be quite common for your cervix to bleed after sex in pregnancy because of the increased blood flow. It didn't help with the worry though. I don't think we had sex again for a few months. But the baby was born full term and healthy. Now I'm pregnant again and very cautious when it comes to sex 🙈

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with my second and we've had sex once following the last time. In my first pregnancy, after a few months recovery, we did start having sex again and I didn't have anymore bleeding. Maybe it's a 1st/early second trimester thing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Did you have any stomach pain alongside the bleeding?
