went for a scan yesterday due to spotting and there was a heart beat, this morning I needed a number two and as I was having one a clot came out with it 😭😭😭 I dipped the tissue in the loo to see if it was and this is what it made 😢 the midwife can't do anything and has said I have to wait and see and theres nothing they can do. Has anyone experienced this amount of blood before and everything was ok?? It's like something passed through. I don't have cramps yet 😢

How frightening. I hope things are okay at the scan x

Sadly baby has gone 😞 not sure how to feel right now but after all of the pain and stress part of me is relieved I know. Just a shame after three years of trying a miracle happened. Life's cruel

I’m so very sorry for your loss.
I know you’re probably not ready to think about this yet but when you can, I would pressure your doctor for a full panel of blood tests including anti phospholipid syndrome. It’s extremely unlikely you have it but as someone who does I would just always advise people to get that ruled out.

don’t give up xx

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear that.

OP I’m so very sorry. Just be kind to yourself and take the time you need to recover. My first miscarriage sounds quite like yours and I took two weeks off work - I needed every minute.
