Missed period but negative test

I’m currently on day 34 of my cycle. So my period is around 4-6 days late.
My periods are normally regular and Ive never missed a period (apart from a failed pregnancy)
I took an early pregnancy test 5 days ago and one of the test strips this morning- both negative.
I did have a miscarriage early September. After that, my period returned in October. Then I had one in November and December within a 30 day cycle.

So, I’m just wondering…
Am I pregnant but perhaps I ovulated later than I thought?
Is it something to do with the miscarriage?

I had this. It was just an odd cycle. I eventually came on day 48 I think. It was very annoying!

Do you take any supplements with biotin in? That can cause false negatives.
It could just be your cycle is having a blip though.

This is rare and results in no control line showing.

I had this a couple of months ago. I’m never late, but randomly ovulated very late and had a seven week cycle. Absolutely bizarre and I have no explanation. The only thing I could think of was that I had been stressed the month before. Everything has returned to bang on 28 days since. So annoying, especially if you are ttc. My advice is try to not focus on it too much. Advice I couldn’t take myself!!

Many years ago, I took two pregnancy tests when I was 1 week and 2 weeks late because I was regular as clockwork. Went to Drs on week 3 and then the test showed up positive. DS is 21 now! I hope you get the result you want. x
