Maternity wear

Does anyone have any recommendations where to get the best, most comfy maternity wear?

I'm only 11 weeks, but my clothes are already really tight/uncomfortable. I have been living in baggy dresses and tights, but kind of overdone what I have and looking to buy a couple of new bits.

I don't even necessarily want 'maternity' specific stuff, more just slouchy dresses etc. I'm usually a size 10. Should I just size up in regular clothes?

I bought all my stuff on Vinted. I wasn’t paying new prices! I got some jeans for £2 and £8, and they are amazing quality. Sizing up won’t really work, at least not for very long. It’s more your shape changing.

I really liked love leggings / lovall as I think they’ve changed name leggings and skinny jeans if that’s what you wear. Normal size but maternity version. And then H&M mama for anything else, I like Mamalicious too.
have a look on Vinted, I got most of mine from there and got staple outfits that saw me through for around £20 and then sold on for about £15! you’ll likely want some maternity summer dresses to keep you cool and you’ll be in third trimester by then so in my opinion maternity look better as they fit over bump well.

I managed for ages in looser-fitting swing-type dresses & tunics, often in my regular size or one up. Once the weather started turning a little (my second trimester was over the autumn) I bought some maternity leggings to go underneath the dresses as I found they had just a little more room, though the high-waisted M&S leggings in my regular size were also very comfy. Dresses were a mix of ones I already had or from places like Seasalt, Fatface, New Look.

Definitely browse Vinted, it’s great for maternity stuff. All my leggings came from there, as did some jumpers, and a couple of the dresses described above.

If you do want to buy something nice, my new stuff came from Primark, Seraphine, and Jojo Maman Bebe. Getting hold of the Primark range can be tricky in my experience as not every shop carries it, but what I bought has been really good, especially the pyjamas, dungarees and tops. Seraphine & Jojo for things like a work dress and some nursing tops. I only ever bought when on sale/special offer though!

I've bought some stuff on Vinted but recently splurged on some items from Seraphine in the sales. I'm planning to breastfeed and all the tops double as nursing tops so figured I'd get my moneys worth even though I'm 30 weeks now.

Definitely get on vinted! So much nearly new stuff on there. I loved Isabella Oliver stuff which fitted perfectly. I wouldn't pay full price but picked up bargains on vinted.

George at Asda are pretty good

I got some plain cotton maternity dresses from H&M Mama and then bought some XL shirts to wear over them. This was in the summer.

Also recommend these ultra soft PJs from Seraphine. They were my one luxury maternity wear purchase and I love them. Still wear them now!

As others have said Vinted also eBay and Facebook marketplace. I found some great stuff in charity shops aswell but have mostly just changed my outfits to baggy tops and leggings. Although I have a smaller bump at 16 weeks than I did at 14 weeks so you may find like me you are bloated and will shrink before you get bigger again!
