Hello,
first time pregnancy here, so I do not know what to expect, what is normal.
I am now 5 weeks pregnant.
I was rather confident about it until about 2 hours ago. I checked my mucus and it’s taken a light tint and it’s gone creamy.
Up until now, I had the “good pregnancy discharge”. That is watery, transparent or whitish. It’s suddenly gone to this. I did have some cramps today, but I have some light sensations pretty much daily, just today they felt a bit more similar to period cramps. Basically right now the mucus looks exactly like it would 3 days before a period. Is this normal? Does the discharge suddenly change like this? Obviously I know it’s not actual blood, but does this happen or is this an early onset of symptoms for a failing pregnancy? Why would it go from clear watery to tinted creamy within days?
I appreciate any answers.
Thank you!

Hi OP. I would say this is definitely normal and doesn't sound worrying at all. Pregnancy discharge can vary! How has your discharge been today? I hope all is well! x

Hello, I should be 6 weeks tomorrow and I have brownish discharge as well (2nd day now) and no idea what to think. I had the same discharge a day before my period when I did a test and it was positive.
This is my first pregnancy and not to know what to expect. It makes me so worry, I have my first doctors appointment in 4 weeks, which feels so far away.

@anxhappy
Hello,

thank you for the response and for the encouraging words. To be honest today the colouration has gone back to yellowish and it's less less thick, there is no presence of brown or pink or red and that is a relief!
