Hi all! I thought I'd start a thread where we can all add freebies that we are entitled to for baby! (Or any money saving tips)

Things like if you sign up to a loyalty scheme then you can get something free etc...!

Dental care

I'm guessing only NHS? Sadly there are hardly any NHS dentists left in my city and none are taking new patients. I ended up having to go private.

Possibly widely known but I didn't know, extra points on Baby items from Boots (and a few free bits) and a free gift and discounts from Amazon when you use their Baby Wishlist.

Oh I didn't know! Thank you :)

I keep seeing advertised a freebie from your baby club. No idea if any good. I will look in to it.

Emma’s diary gives free things

Following for info. Only thing I’ve got is not free, but John Lewis gives you 10% off if you use their baby product advice service.

Urinary incontinence anyone? That trickle when you sneeze or cough?

I know you might be joking but I have to say it for any new mums, this may be common but it's not normal, and pelvic floor physio can fix this. You don't have to live with this if it happens.

SleepHasEscaped · 06/01/2024 14:26

You can get a voucher for a free pack of Aldi newborn nappies on another parenting forum. Can I mention Netmums here? 😬Not sure how long the offer is on for but just checked and it’s still running at the moment.

StartedWithACrisp · 06/01/2024 14:34

does Mumsnet ever do vouchers? seems a bit of a waste if it doesn't

bigglebongle · 06/01/2024 16:11

Prescriptions are free including for things like Gaviscon if you have heartburn (as long as prescribed).

yoghurttops · 07/01/2024 01:30

Following.

You can get access to counselling via the NHS if you need it pre/postpartum. You also jump the queue as you are priority. Can be accessed through midwife.
