Backache 5 weeks pregnant

Hi all is it normal to have bad backache at 5 weeks? Woke up about 5 this morning needing a wee which then turned out I felt a bit constipated. The backache kicked in and it hasn't shifted so far. My tummy feels a bit crampy too. Just feeling anxious after 3 previous losses.

I started with back ache at 8DPO and it led me to test and I’ve had on and off bad ache ever since lol I was also cramping quite bad till just under 6 weeks. I’m now 6+2 and have back ache on and off and very rare get cramps, maybe a little niggle here and there. I’ve also had a previous loss last year and I was whittling like mad but decided to remind myself that it can happen at any stage and to enjoy every second I get blessed to be pregnant again. Today I am pregnant and that’s all that matters 💕 I hope your worries ease x

I had terrible backache and cramps weeks 5 - 8 of my pregnancy and was very uncomfortable for what felt like ages. I'm now 31 weeks along with my first after 3 x early losses and everything is fine.

I’m currently 5 weeks 4 days and have bad back ache and cramping on and off also had 3 losses it’s such a worry isn’t it but I keep reminding myself it’s all common but still a worry

@Sbows I'm now 13 weeks and everything is fine. Try not to worry it's all normal xx

I woke up with some blood this morning but I’ve been on pessarys and I’ve see. On here it can be common to bleed I’ve phoned my early pregnancy unit and I have a scan at 3:30 today just hope it’s not a repeat praying all will be ok this time , thank u so much for ur reply means a lot we haven’t told anyone yet just my mum so it’s nice to be able to talk thank you and I’m so pleased to hear all is going well for you amazing xx

I had scan but they said it was to early to tell me anything so I’ve had bloods and they will call me tomorrow, pains seemed to of eased so will see what happens tomorrow it really is such a worry . They said to still take my pessary as normal just hope all will be ok and it’s just a common bleed , thank you x

i wasn’t for a few hours but now it’s very brown and bitty if that makes sense I only had red a tiny bit when I wiped this morning now just seems this brown stuff pains have eased so I’m literally hoping all be ok , just doesn’t help when u get all worried as then u feel every cramping etc xx

@Sbows oh I know it's like your brain makes you think your cramping worse than you are. So was you too early to see anything on the scan? Xx

I’m 5 week 5 days thought they may of seen somthing, my last one I was 6 weeks spot on and they could see empty sack so was only 2 days off I come out very confused to be honest just want tomorrow to hurry now fingers crossed for a miracle we will see xx thank u again for the chat really have helped to talk with u today thank u and hope ur doing ok not to much sickness etc x

@Sbows I hope you get a positive outcome today. How are you feeling today? Has the spotting stopped?
I'm ok, have all dat nausea but that's easing a bit now thank god. The tiredness is still bad xx

I had lots of back pain and cramping during the early stages

Just finally had the call and I’ve sadly had another miscarriage:( absolutely gutted but I won’t give up , wishing all u lovely ladies the best of luck and hopefully I’ll get my rainbow 🌈 xxx
