Is this urine or my waters?

Hi everyone.

One pad was last night, I changed it then the other pad is getting up this morning. I know it’s more than likely urine as I can feel it coming out when I cough (I have a head cold and cough is quite brutal) but there doesn’t seem to be a smell to it and the colour seems weird to me!

If you think it could be your waters, you should get checked. There is a simple swab test they can do to check. As soon as your waters break the clock on infection starts.

@Sunflwer my guts telling me it’s not but as I am only 32+3 weeks, I think it’s worth calling them and then going up to do swab for peace of mind, thank you x

I always think better safe with those things. Good luck.

When I was pregnant I remember the midwife telling me they would always rather see me and it be a false alarm than miss something important. You’re right to go in.

My waters broke at 33 weeks (I gave birth that day, baby is doing well). Definitely go to hospital to get checked as soon as you can, they may keep you in for a couple of days to monitor.

Iirc waters smell a bit sweet rather than of nothing. As does your wee if you have gestational diabetes so possibly not a helpful distinction.

Definitely best to get it checked. Good luck Flowers

Thanks everyone! Just out of eou - not my waters or no infections!

Baby was breech at last scan and mw who listened into heartbeat on doppler said she seems to be head down now so more discharge and trickling pee with the pressure😳 so relieved! 🥰
