Hi all
So… I stopped taking my pill early December due to a weird period and because of this, I convinced myself that maybe I need a break off of the pill. This was 10th December. I had a very light period (basically just brown discharge) but some awful pain on my left side just above my groin just for an about half an hour.
Anyways, I continued to have sex as normal knowing there could be a chance I would get pregnant. My period is due tomorrow, 5th December but curiosity was getting the better of me so I set out this morning to buy an early test. The shop had absolutely nothing on the shelf bar a standard clear blue one which you take after your late period.
Again, curiosity had gotten the better of me so I decided to take the test midday after I got home, thinking it may just show as negative as I’m not technically missing a period yet. To my surprise the positive came up pretty much straight away.
I’m going to take another test on the weekend to confirm but does anyone think there could be any chance that I have been pregnant for a while, hence the previous light period and quick, early positive?
I know the only person who can confirm this is the person doing my first scan but what do you all think?
