Signs of labour?

Hi all

I'm currently 37 + 3 weeks with my first baby.

So the last couple weeks I've been having more discharge - more sticky and milky white. Last couple of days I've felt movement around pubic bone and just below pubic bone (can be uncomfortable!) this happens especially at night!

Not sure if baby is engaged yet but he is head down. I don't think my waters have broke or that I have lost my mucus plug.

Does this mean labour is near? If so, does anyone know how soon I could go into labour?

@ALBW can't really say if this could be the start of labour or not, but jumping on just to say that I'm 37+3 as well and having the same symptoms as you! If anyone has any experiences of this being the start of labour I would also be interested to hear ☺️ and good luck OP! X

Sounds like the heads just dropping into the pelvis, labour could still be several weeks away.

I had these symptoms around the same time but baby didn't come until 41+5 (sorry!)

You might have 5 weeks yet. All sounds like fairly standard late pregnancy. The best thing you can do is just assume that you will never go into labour rather than symptom spotting. A complete state of denial until it’s very definitely undeniable is the best way forward.
