If that's the only bit you get then unlikely, a miscarriage usually has far more blood and tissue loss than this, even early on.

You have to have been pregnant to have a MMC. Your question and photo don't make much sense.

I read that a missed miscarage can happen with out any bleeding streght away if its been dead for a few days and all tye other tissue hasn't exited yet ?
I have 4 kids all under 5 I have had 2 miscarages before and 1 obort .

But what is this ? It looks like a little baby and a yolk sack ?

And I dint get periods with my contraception just happened out tye blue . I have been on alot of string medications lately due to a damaged back disc. Maybe stopped my contro implant

Hi@Chick23457 I don't think that is a missed miscarriage. Having experienced two myself there is far more blood and tissue, and, to be frank, pain involved over a course of hours. If you're very worried, you could make an appointment with your GP and ask them to check your hormones for pregnancy hormones. Stay well xx

Ah okay, well it would definitely be worth speaking to a GP, but if you haven't had a period for 7 months, then you almost certainly were not pregnant.
My MMCs both happened within the first trimester and there was so much bleeding and passing of the beginnings of a placenta etc. and that was only very early in pregnancy. If you had lost a pregnancy at 7 months, or close to it, you would almost certainly need hospital treatment. I can't tell you what has happened today, but I don't think you need to worry about it being a miscarriage at all.

If you didn't have confirmation you were pregnant how can you have had a miscarriage?
Having experienced them myself that most certainly doesn't look like a miscarriage. If you haven't had a period in 7 months and you think your passing tissue then it's likely for that reason.
When you go so long without a period the estrogen builds up in your lining and bits of your lining pop off. ( gynaes words)
Pregnancy would be different because the hormones suppress the lining from building.

This. I had a MM at about 12 weeks and it was like a mini labour. Hours of pain/contractions. A lot of blood and passed a lot of clots and a lot of tissue and one very large tissue piece.

Josette77 · 04/01/2024 03:13

That's not a missed miscarriage. There needs to be way more blood. That just looks like a blood clot.

Chick23457 · 04/01/2024 07:25

Nope not true . I didn't know I was pregnant with my first till I was 3 month along . I took test after test and I never had a single positive till even at tye end of my pregnancy wity my first . You don't need to know you were pregnant to have a miss carage . I had pregnancy symptoms like I started ro vomit around tye smell of egg . And I have also been pregnant on contraception before . For the past 2 months I have been on heavy tablets that can effect my implant so I was worried that I might have been pregnant then I saw this.

Your post makes absolutely no sense and neither does your grammar

HopeIVFover40 · 04/01/2024 19:39

Ask your GP to check your HCG blood level. If you have recently miscarried it’ll still be high / positive as takes a couple of weeks to reduce x

VerityUnreasonble · 04/01/2024 20:29

It's not uncommon with the implant to occasionally have a period / bleed even if you don't normally. For some people the implant stops their periods, for others it makes them very irregular or lighter or even heavier. This can change over the time you have the implant so you might go 2 years with no periods and then have some irregular bleeds.

It is likely just your period / some spotting. Small clots aren't unusual, the tissue is just part of the lining of your uterus, that you don't need because you aren't pregnant.

You'd expect significantly more bleeding with a miscarriage.
