Hi all,

Just looking for peoples experiences really. I am currently 37+2 and EXTREMELY uncomfortable with PGP 😑 my DS1 came on his due date - what's the chances of this baby coming sooner? Would love to hear all your experiences of second labour and births!
Thanks ☺️

DC1, came spontaneously at 36+5
DC2, came spontaneously at 39+0

I'm not sure there's a pattern, although no woman in my family has ever carried a baby beyond 39 weeks.

My first was induced on due date, second came 40+2, third came 41+2. Really is no way to tell.

Thanks both for your responses. Any ways people can recommend for encouraging labour would be great too!

@ndavies22 eating 6 dates a day can help ripen the cervix. I did it with my second but couldn’t stomach it with my third and she was a week later. You need oxytocin so relaxed and happy, massage, comedies chocolate, hot baths. Other than that nothing else works

@PickledScrump those all sound like things I can get on board with ☺️
