Is 26 considered late 20s

I was wondering at this age range is 26 considered late 20s or is it normal to describe 26 as being late 20s

No, it's mid twenties. Why?

My initial thought was yes late 20’s but maybe it’s because I’m much older. Just thinking if I was 24, I might be more sensitive?

@DanDandadada maybe just saying my quick and first response was yes late 20. rational past 25 closer to 30 than 20. at the time the concept of mid 20 was not on my mind.

I'm 24 and to be 26 is mid! 27 is somewhere in the middle but maybe nearer late and 28 is late

21-23 is early, 24-26 is mid and 27-29 is late.

This. It's an easy enough system. I'm not sure why anyone would be confused by it. Unless they thought there was no 'mid-' section, in which case it would be earlier-20s and later-20s only, which is a bad system and should never be introduced 🤔

If some said late 20’s to me I’d be thinking 28/29, so almost 30. You don’t round 26 up that far. You don’t say 60 is almost 100
