Hi everyone..
Just here for some reassurance. I'm currently 21weeks+2 days pregnant and slipped down a few stairs. Thankfully I didn't roll or anything just landed on my bum... which still hurts! Near my tailbone. I hope my baby is OK :| should I visit the hospital? I am feeling some movements

I did this at around 34 weeks pregnant. Fell down the stairs on my bum and had quite a hefty bruise on my arm. I felt baby moving but I did ask to go and be checked as have such bad health anxiety. I don't think the midwives thought I needed to go but were very happy to put my mind at rest.

There is so much padding and especially if you didn't fall on your front, I am sure everything is fine but call the midwife if worried, they will likely say not to worry.

I wouldn’t be worried about this.

Poor you! Hope not too sore! If you're worried because you notice a change or reduction in movement then def get checked out but if all is as it felt before then I don't think any need. I banged into wall and fell into the sea (!! trying to rescue my brother's dog - which I managed to do, thankfully) when I was 8 weeks pregnant. Granted it was earlier than you but I spoke to my friend who is a doctor at the time and she said not to worry, the padding around the baby in utero is such that it is much safer inside than it ever will be outside. Stuck with me! From what she went on to explain, I think falls are usually only potentially problematic if very late on.

Once you didn't impact your stomach I think m your fine , friend of mine passed out and fell on her numb was all fine babies and our bodies are way more resilient that we give them credit for.

I wouldn't be worried if you fell on your bum, a jolt isn't going to hurt the baby.
