I’ve been able to ignore all the other missed nights out and enjoyed sobriety. But my husband and I always have the best time on NYE. I’m just so tired, and reminiscing about crazy NYE of the past….

Nah, nye always usually depresses me slightly but this year I'm actually kinda looking forward to it.

Planning on having a small glass of cava to toast the year our daughter will be born

Woo for 2024!

I'm part irish and it's St paddy's day I'm gonna feel like I'm missing out big time. We usually get utterly hammered and sing a bunch of Irish songs 😅

Christmas, new year and my birthday (in feb) I'm not really fussed about

Oh god yes OP. I love the fireworks, and I’ve missed drinking this Xmas, to be completely honest. I would love a nice cold glass of wine.

I would stay up late, despite the pregnancy, but it’s my one year old that is preventing me from doing so. I just won’t be able to survive a day parenting her on such little sleep! I would say out of the two, it’s the one year old that is causing me to miss out on lots of social things this year, not the pregnancy.

Tonight I'll be at 40,000ft transatlantic! Since kids New Years was either a dinner round ours or a movie and a kiss at midnight. Before it was a night out at friends for a fun dinner - the very few parties I've been to were a wash. Do not miss it at all.
