Maternity leave/SPL/Annual leave questions???

Hi, I have been looking up online about shared parental leave to see if I could apply for it & use it in 2 or 3 blocks but using my annual leave in between the blocks rather than going back to work as I will have 5 weeks to use which would have to be taken pre Mat. leave if I can’t do the SPL as my company won’t allow holiday to be carried over. I can’t find anything about this online at all. Anyone know anything about this?

My company doesn't allow holiday to be carried over, but they let me carry it over while on Mat Leave as it's illegal not to.

@TheBeeb the reason they won’t let me carry it over I’d because there is time for me to take it before my maternity leave but I’m hoping not to as I’d really like to use it between leave so I get paid for some of it
