How long after booking appointment did you get scan

Wondering how long you had to wait between booking appointment and first 12 week scan

Depends how busy they are. Booking appointment is usually done between 8-10 weeks, scans done between 11-14 weeks. If they are busy you’ll be on the later end.

I definitely seem to be towards the later end. I have my book appointment next week, I'm already 12 weeks tomorrow

At my booking appointment, the midwife sent a referral for my 12 week scan whilst I was there. As it’s all online now where I live, the appointment had come through on my app by the time I got home and was for when I’d be exactly 12 weeks. It will depend on area though, but in my experience the referral is sent at your booking appointment so you may not hear anything before that (annoying as your booking appointment is so late!)

I had my first midwife appointment at 7 weeks pregnant, and my first scan appointment was booked in for week 14!! I was too far along for some of the tests.

Had my midwife's appointment at week 8 when she sent the referral. However, I had to keep callig the hospital to give me an appoitement (they said they are too busy).
I had mine at 13+6. Didn't receive a letter, just appeared on my Budger notes.

I had my booking appointment the same day as my scan. Just over 11 weeks x

I had my scan at exactly 13 weeks, 2 weeks after the booking app :)

Had my booking appointment on the 27th December and have my scan on 9th Jan when I will be around 12 weeks and 3 days
