At age 41 and trying for over a year I never thought I’d see a positive pregnancy test, thrilled to say I was wrong but still early days at 5 weeks. I think I’m just seeking some reassurance as firstly I’m terrified of something going wrong with the increased risk due to my age. And also, maybe caused by hormones, I’m now worried about how our lives will change if, god willing, baby arrives and how this will affect my relationship with my partner. He’s also worried about this as has a daughter from a previous relationship 12 years ago and they drifted apart after she was born and spilt up. I think I’m just looking for some positive outcomes if any one has any please as I’m having a wobble
