I am so sure that I either have trush or a UTI. My GP have sent samples to the lab and I won’t get the results until next Tuesday. A whole week away.

If I wasn’t pregnant I would use canister or something similar and the symptoms would be gone in a day. The GP do not want to prescribe or recommend anything whilst I’m pregnant until they receive the lab results.

Fair enough but I’m in so much discomfort.

I feel the panty liners that I’ve been using have irritated me. I’ve used different brands and can’t find one. Do you know any alternatives to panty liners and what relief would you recommend for a sore down below whilst I wait for results.

Yes I’m having lots of liquid. Eating more greens and taking my vitamins.

I don't know how quickly you could get hold of some reusable sanitary towels / panty liners but they are cotton not scented plastic and may make quite a difference.
Also in the meantime can you get hold of some natural live yoghurt (key is that it is unflavoured/ unsweetened/ and has live cultures) and either put in in a sanitary towel or ideally use a tampon applicator to insert it.
Sadly I speak from experience- thrush in early pregnancy is horrendous. Good luck x

Sorry meant to say that's for thrush.
IF it's a UTI then unsweetened cranberry juice and / or PINTS of barley water squash and flush flush flush it out.
Chemists often sell potassium citrate but you'd need to check with them directly if it's safe in pregnancy. If it is, it's wonderful stuff.

Get some panty liners or pads from a company called TOTM (Time of the Month) they are organic and unscented. I have terrible issues with Sanpro and thrush.

Tesco sell them and you can buy direct.

Agree with PP advice to use live yoghurt for thrush! I used a Calpol syringe to apply it!

I would get a clotrimazole pessary from a pharmacy. Perfectly safe in pregnancy so nothing to lose if it's not thrush but plenty to gain, next Tuesday is a long time to be suffering. You can use clotrimazole cream to ease external symptoms also.
