Hey,

I been searching this forum back and forward about miscarriage at 10weeks, the last two days iv woken up to go toilet to find spotting and smudges of blood. I left a Pic to show yous but before I took the Pic I felt what seemed like a blood clot fall out of me. I'm starting to feel abit of cramping now and here our midwives are on holiday and it's hard to get into the docs for a app. The blood yesterday morning was tiny little spots of clots, it stops during the day though but I find the bleeding on my morning toilet times

It doesn’t look like the typical heavy miscarriage bleeding but the only way to know is to wait and see or be examined/get a scan. You could call your local early pregnancy unit if you can’t get through to midwives/GP or see how it goes over the next couple of days until you can (assuming you don’t heavily bleed/have significant abdo pain - if this is the case you always have A+E). I hope it’s good news xxx

Not necessarily. You can bleed for a number of reasons during pregnancy. Sometimes as you get further along the placenta forms itself and can migrate on the uterine wall as your uterus stretches for example- this was one reason I bled in my first pregnancy. Great advice from PP. Hate the first trimester because it’s a lot of wait and see!

Just to add as well, I bled much more heavily than this in 1st trimester and it’s all been fine - I’m now 17 weeks. I personally didn’t bother going to get a scan/checking with midwives et c as it wasn’t associated with any pain but lots of people do. I know it’s anecdotal but hope this helps to give you some reassurance!

Have you been having sex op? Spotting can happen after sex. Getting checked out is the only way for sure to know.

I would call your local EPU and ask for a scan for reassurance. I had a similar amount of bleeding at 9 weeks and the EPU couldn't have been more helpful, had me in for a scan the next day and confirmed everything was fine, it was such a relief. Hope you're ok x

Hey thank you all for replying, the bleeding had gotten heavier and I did get a hold of my midwife (which was just luck) she sent me for blood test. Since this morning the bleeding has become a little more heavier and my cramps feel like period cramps so now I just feel we are already in the miscarry stage, hoping not but also not holding onto my hope
