Hi all!
Im currently 37+1. My bump is HUGE as I’m 5’2 size 8 when got pregnant. My partner is 6’4 and excuse the french built like a brick shithouse so my baby doesn’t have much room. This is coupled with having moderately high fluid, nothing too concerning but enough to have been monitored. I am now extremely uncomfortable. Sick after I eat due to lack of room and just constantly in pain. I’m being scanned on the 3rd January so I’ll be 38+1 then to monitor the fluid. The doctor has said that if it has stayed the same they are unlikely to do anything but if it gone up they may book an induction. At the last scan my midwife spoke to me about booking in sweeps. If they decide to not induce can I request sweeps at 38 weeks or is that too early? This is mainly just due to being worried baby will move out of position due to fluid (he’s currently head down but has moved about a lot) and also due to how uncomfortable I am. Any advice or similar experiences welcome!
