Covid and feeling rubbish

This is going to be more of a moan than needing any advice.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and tested positive for covid yesterday. It's mostly a bad cold and even more tiredness. I know the second trimester is where you don't feel pregnant and can be a bit limbo like, but I really don't feel pregnant. My bump is a bit smaller, but that could be because I've not eaten much and a lot of it was just bloat. I also had a sip of prosecco on Monday and a warm bath when my muscles were hurting yesterday.

I just feel really sorry for myself and I hope baby is OK. I keep telling myself that they're resilient and my body will protect baby first. And I think I almost believe it.

I had covid at 29 weeks! I am currently 41 weeks! Honestly I feel your pain was horrible but your body will do everything right in fighting it off and your little bubba will be absolutely fine! I called my midwife and she wasn't worried at all - of course if your ever worried call triage or midwife but I was fine a few days/week later it's so hard on top of all the pregnancy symptoms too! Just rest up and pamper yourself as much as possible that's what I did, try eat what you fancy when you fancy it because my appetite was crap, so buy all your favourite foods pig out in bed and stick a little face-mask on warm baths help too! Hope you feel better soon xxx

@kwarr24 thank you! That's mostly what I've been doing, but also getting so restless.

My midwife seems to be on holiday still so just waiting for her to telling me to stop the stressing.

Good luck at being 41 weeks!
