Pulmonary embolism in third trimester

Does anybody have any positive labour stories following a pulmonary embolism in their third trimester, please? Mine was discovered over the weekend and I'm having to inject blood thinners for the next three months (continuing post pregnancy as I'm due in 6 weeks), and I'm just really nervous about how this will impact my labour. Thank you so much in advance.

I had a PE at 35 weeks and was put on clexane (stinging bastard injections). Because of the blood thinners, the doctors wanted to control my labour so I was induced a week early. I stopped clexane 24 hours before induction, then restarted after baby was born. Medical staff try to avoid C sections when you're on blood thinners for obvious reasons!

Thank you so much. They really do sting! Did you have any issues with bleeding during the labour or after? I've been advised I will need to restart the injections 24 hours after babies born but I know you bleed for weeks after baby comes so I wasn't sure if that would be impacted by the blood thinners.

The main difference post partum for me was that everyone tells you to monitor your maternity pads for clots but I had very few because the clexane was doing its job.

Thank you, that makes sense!
