Signs of a miscarriage?

From week 6 of my pregnancy I developed really bad nausea that would occur 24/7. I didn't have an appetite and I would feel so tired throughout the day leading me to sleep 12+ hours in a day. Now that I'm 8 weeks my nausea is very little, I have my appetite back and I'm not tired anymore. I would argue that I'm the opposite and feel more energetic. I'm concerned that I'm having a miscarriage. I took a pregnancy test a couple days ago and the line was still dark. I've heard that the placenta takes over so pregnancy symptoms lessen but I don't know if 8 weeks is too early for that. Has anyone experienced the same thing where their pregnancy symptoms lessened but they still went on to have a successful pregnancy?

Hi, I had similar experience. I’m currently 10w3d with twins. At 8weeks all of my symptoms lessened, I didn’t experience any nausea but tiredness, sore boobs and just in general the feeling of being pregnant disappeared overnight. I freaked out and had 3 scans since then everything is fine so far and seems perfect.
since then all my symptoms come and go but 100% not feeling like in the first couple of weeks.
My OB says is completely normal as placenta is taking over. I remember reading every article and post about MMC back then but honestly that created an unneeded fear!
Bought a Doppler to ease my mind (wouldn’t recommend it tho im freaking out when I can’t find HB for a few minutes😑)
Anyway, I completely understand how you’re feeling honestly my only advice would be to book a private scan if you’re way to anxious.
But it is completely normal, I carry twins which meant to produce more hormones and severe symptoms and still everything feels pretty normal since 8weeks.

Good luck and hope you have a happy and easy pregnancy!

In all honestly, nobody can know if your suffering a loss or not but until your told otherwise, don't stress yourself out.

I've had a previous miscarriage so I know the anxiety.
I lost all my symptoms early , the tiredness, food aversions, sore boobs ect all disappeared.
Despite having a 7 week scan I was convinced in my 8th week that I'd had a miscarriage as I just didn't feel the same and id had so much cramping this pregnancy. Stop taking tests as there will be a point when your hcg may drop because its so high. This happened to me and I took a test in my 10th week because I was convinced I'd had a miscarriage and sure enough the test line was faint. I'm now 11 weeks and had a scan on Thursday and baby is well
